On the 29th of March, C.T.S.G. Alembic turned 55 years old! It was, due to the circumstances, celebrated in a rather unusual way. An online drink was held. During this drink the 56th board hosted a pub quiz after which Alembics very own Minecraft server was launched! A celebration fully worthy of such a special occasion was unfortunately not possible. Thankfully the lustrum committee will make up for this in the upcoming academic year.

None of the Alembic rooms will be open and most activities are cancelled. This includes drinks in the TAP as well as all activities that were planned in the lustrum week. Activities that are still happening are in the yearcircle and are most likely held online on the Alembic Discord. The board hopes that everyone will stay safe and will…
During the last week of February Alembic had her annual European Study Trip. A group of 20 bachelor students travelled to the German city Stuttgart for four days of excursions and cultural highlights. The students visited the Schönbuch brewery, the Max-Planck institute for solid state physics and the largest integrated chemical complex in the world, belonging to BASF. Many thanks go out to the committee and the participating parties for making this trip possible!
Alembic was founded on the 29th of March 1965, making it the oldest study association on campus. This year Alembic will celebrate its 55th dies with a lustrum week filled with activities at the end of March. For more information check the lustrum website!
